After the call you receive your offer in writing: the content blocks we propose, the price, and the contract with both guarantees. You read everything at your own pace and book when it fits. Until then you pay nothing.

With your booking you pay once, and your slot is firmly reserved. You then receive a short questionnaire: your answers are the raw material for your website. When you fill it in is up to you. Once it arrives, we propose kickoff dates and you pick one, and from your answers we design your website in several directions, ready for that meeting.

About two hours on your business, your customers, and your goals. Then we go through the designs we made from your answers: you see your website in each of them, say what works and what doesn’t, and choose yours. What you want different we note down and build in. By the end, your design and your handover date are set. That’s everything we need from you. From there we take over.

We start right after the kickoff and handle copy, design, development, SEO, and quality assurance. No meetings in between, no tasks for you. If a detail does come up, your exact opening hours for example, we ask in one short email. An answer is welcome, never required: without one we decide, and you change it later yourself. On your preview link you can watch anytime and send notes. We keep building, and the date stands.

On the agreed date, at the end of the fifth working day: your startklar website on its preview link, complete but not live yet. You also get a 30-minute introduction to your editing system. Domain, code, and content belong to you.

You look at everything at your leisure (one consolidated revision round is included) and fill in your legal pages. As soon as you give the go-ahead, we take the site live. For most clients that happens within a few days. You pick the moment.

We don’t have any copy or photos yet.
That’s exactly what the kickoff is for. We write all the copy from that conversation. Images are covered by licensed photos included in the price. You can contribute your own material, but you don’t have to. What a specialist charges for the words alone is in website copywriting service.
What if we don’t like the result?
The process guards against that three times over. In the kickoff you see your website in several designs, made from your answers, and you choose yours before we build anything. During the build you can check in anytime on your preview link, so there is no surprise at the end. And after handover, one consolidated revision round is included, where we fold in your course corrections within the design you chose. Further rounds cost €450 each. Honest and predictable.
Why do I pay everything at booking?
Because it firmly reserves your slot: in those days we build only your website. You are covered in writing: if the website is not startklar on the agreed day, you get €500 back. And you are not booking blind. In the kickoff you see your website in several designs and choose yours before we build. On your preview link you can watch the build anytime.
What if we have no time for feedback?
Then nothing bad happens. After kickoff we need nothing more from you. The website becomes startklar without your involvement. If we do come back with a short question, an answer is welcome but never required. You do your review after handover at your own pace. One consolidated revision round is included. The site goes live after your go-ahead, and you can always change small things yourself in the editing system.
Why does this cost less than an agency but more than a site builder?
Agencies price in project management, meetings, and a six-week timeline. You pay for all of it. Site builders are cheaper, but copy and search engine optimization stay on your plate. Who owns the website afterwards?
You do. The domain is registered in your name, the code lives in a transferable repository, and we export your content in full on request. Because everything is built on open, standard technology, with no site builder and no proprietary system, you are not tied to us. With Wix or Jimdo, switching providers means starting from zero. With us, you take everything with you.
What if we don’t want a monthly plan?
Then you only need the hosting at €29 a month, with no care plan. If you want to leave us entirely, we release code and content anytime, free of charge. Thanks to standard technology, your new developer can continue from there. You or your new provider handle the move itself. You stay with us because it’s convenient. Not because you have to.
Do you also run Google Ads?
Yes, as a separate add-on, not included in the website package. You book the setup once for €1,490. We build your campaigns and set up conversion tracking down to the inquiry. The ongoing management costs €690 a month. Its monthly report shows what an inquiry costs and which ad brought it. You pay your ad budget directly to Google. To be upfront, ads tracking needs a consent banner. We set it up as part of the ads setup. You book the banner service behind it directly with the provider.
Will AI assistants like ChatGPT find us?
We work on that from day one. We build your website so machines can read it reliably. That means structured data about your business and services, clear facts instead of marketing phrases, and machine-readable summaries. That way an AI can name you when someone asks for businesses like yours. If you want to go deeper, book the deep AI-visibility optimization as an add-on. It prepares reviews, people, and services so AI answers cite you.
What about the legal notice and privacy policy?
Your website comes with pages prepared for them. You add the content yourself in the editing system, because it is legally your responsibility and depends on your country and business. In Germany, for example, this takes a few minutes with a lawyer-maintained generator (e.g. eRecht24 or IT-Recht Kanzlei, from about €6/month). Before launch we check with you. The site only goes live once you confirm your legal pages are filled in.
Can we really change copy and images ourselves?
Yes. All the copy and images on your pages, anytime. You can also create new pages yourself from your content blocks. Your website has a built-in editing system with a clean interface. At handover we show you everything you need in 30 minutes. And if something ever goes wrong, we can restore an earlier state, because your changes are versioned. The site stays fast.
Do we need a maintenance contract afterwards?
No. Unlike WordPress, there is no plugin sprawl demanding constant security updates. The few system updates are already included in the €29 hosting, together with backups. You book the care plans not out of fear, but for what actually moves you forward. New content, better rankings, monthly numbers.
